This summer has been a whirlwind! There were more events and activities than I remember, I will highlight a few of my favorite moments to prevent this blog from being excessively long.
First things first, let me introduce you to my teammates for the Summer. Team 6 also known as team SKECH (L-R: Tyler, Mike, Sean, me, Mohammad). We spent countless hours with each other, but I can't imagine any other group of men that I would have liked to spend the summer with!
The first week of the summer was amazing because we spent time in Universe Within- the week was spent bonding with our teams and learning about each other. My favorite part of Universe within was when we went to Thompson Island for a day of team bonding. See a few pictures of Universe within below!

In July we had quite a few celebrations. We started the month with a very exciting all Forth of July celebration at the MIT Sailing Pavilion. The day was filled with a Barbecue/potluck that lasted from early afternoon to 11pm (yes! almost 12 hours of fun!).
The CLGOs (our sister program from China) came to visit us for a week. The week was filled with a ton of social activities, we had a few classes together and even played the Beer Game in operations class.
In Leadership, we got to add actors to our resume by reenacting the "Queen" and the "Burial of Thebes" and it was VERY entertaining!
We had a Helicopter project in Statistics where we got to build paper helicopters to apply the concept of experimental design. My team did got 4th place out of 11, yay!
The LGO Ladies (female students and SO's) had an amazing brunch. It was great catching up with the SO's, hanging out with BO (LGO 17 Molly's dog), and eating delicious brunch food.
On the last class day we had an end of summer "party" to celebrate the August birthdays and commemorate the last the day of class.
These are just a few of the many events from the summer. Feel free to send me a note if you would like to learn more about our summer activities.
